Are you modern, classic or romantic? Then we can always find a fabric to suit your style. Besides our special pleated collection, we can also make pleated blinds from many curtain fabrics, net curtains and in-betweens.
Simplicity and quality
Our Roman blinds are all cut on a laser cutting table and made with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the highest quality.We offer a choice of different models with and without ribs. For the hanging system, you can choose from a manual control or possibly motorised with Somfy motor or Motionblind.
Choose light or privacy
Depending on the thickness of the fabric, you choose the privacy you want when the Roman blinds are closed. It should be clear that with a transparent fabric, the view from outside to inside and vice versa is possible even when the roman shutter is closed. If you have chosen a denser fabric, you can regulate the light by pulling up the roman shutter in the position that suits you best. If you want to use the roman shades in the bedroom, you can have them lined with a blackout lining.
Discolouration and cleaning of Roman blinds
You should bear in mind that the back of a Roman blinds is almost always exposed to daylight throughout the day. Therefore, discolouration of the reverse side cannot be avoided, but choose a fabric that can best withstand this. It is advisable to choose fabrics with natural fibres or not. If you have chosen a fabric that is washable, you can easily clean the Roman blinds. To do this, lower the Roman blinds completely and remove the ribs and the weighting rod. You can now remove the fabric from the system and cloth the Roman blinds according to the fabric's washing instructions. Take care not to pull up the cords during washing, leave them hanging in front of the window.After cleaning, replace the fabric while it is still damp, slide the ribs and bottom batten back in and then thread the cords through the rings again and reattach them to the folding curtain. Then you can pull the whole thing up again.
Combine with other window decoration
Depending on the chosen fabric, you can very well combine a roman blind with a transparent fabric or an overlay. If, for example, you have a Roman blind in the bedroom as a blackout curtain, when you pull it up, the privacy will be completely gone and it is advisable to hang an In-between in front of it. Conversely, if you have a transparent Roman blinds all the way down, it will be possible to look inside in the evening and an overlay may be required for privacy. The choice is yours but will depend greatly on the chosen fabric and its use.
